Zollie Alvin “Al” Pouncey, Jr., age 63, of Montgomery, AL passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. He was born on November 5, 1947 to Zollie and Exa Dykes Pouncey, Sr. in Troy, AL. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Karen Pouncey; children, Terry (Sherry) Pouncey, Sherri (Jonathan) Dunn, Allen (Stephanie) Pouncey, and Kelly Pouncey; mother, Exa Pouncey; sister, Carolyn (Sean Kelly) Pouncey Grayson; brother, David (Tina) Pouncey; grandchildren, William Pouncey, Wesley Pouncey, Spencer Dunn, Jack Dunn, Sean Pouncey, and Sophie Grier; and numerous other extended family members. He was predeceased by his father, Zollie Pouncey, Sr. Pallbearers will be Tim Colley, Brent Ellis, Robert Weiss, Billy Lindsey, Alan Roberts, John Morris, Boykin Miller, and Jack Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be James Coley, Bill Cox, Charles Myrick, and John Weiss. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 28 at 1:00 pm at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
