

He was a devoted family man, cherished husband to Marisa (nee Stangoni), loving father to John (Anita), Laura (Michel), Aldo Jr (Alissa), adoring grandfather to Veronica (David), Stephan (Sara), Sara (John Paul), Alyssa, Luca, Cristiano and Vienna, and great-grandchildren Leo, Isabela, Erik, Vera and Zelie.
Predeceased by his beloved brothers Nazzareno, Marco (Lucille), and Gino. He leaves behind his sisters-in-law Anne, Carmela, Gina (Lorenzo), and in Italy Lisa, Simonetta and Sante. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Aldo was a dedicated teacher, a man of his community, a volunteer of many years at the Jewish General Hospital, a happy grateful man and a gentle soul.
Our sincere gratitude to his caregivers throughout these past years who made it possible for him to remain in the comfort of his home. Special thanks to caregivers Fely, Gemma, Sitte, and Jennifer for their devotion and incredible care. Thanks to Terricia, Alice and Charlotte from the CLSC Rene-Cassin. Our sincere gratitude to all his doctors, in particular Dr. Roland Grad and the Herzl Family Practice Home Care Team, Dr David Langleben, the ENT staff, and the outstanding ER doctors and nurses of the JGH.
Visitation will be at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White funeral home in NDG (5610 Sherbrooke St. W, Montreal) on Thursday, July 4, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Sainte-Catherine-de-Sienne Church (7070 Somerled, Montreal) on Friday, July 5th, at 11 a.m. with an interment to follow at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery.
