You were my “mummy” for the past 58 years so I am writing this to celebrate your life and all that you accomplished starting with venturing forth from England to work in Bermuda where you met my father to getting your university degree and going back to work at McGill University in your 50s. Your love of history, art, and archeology led you to faraway places like the Greek islands which you fell in love with. You even came to visit me in the Dominican Republic and Dubai; I treasure those moments travelling together. How I wish they could have lasted longer.
You were a strong, proud, and independent Objectivist lady up until your dying day which mercifully happened suddenly in your own home in Montreal - no hospital, no nursing home, just the way you wanted it to be. We were always there for each other, through the good times and the bad. You will be so very missed by me and your two surviving sisters, Sally and Susan, as well as all your long-standing friends including Earl & Bettina, Brian & Julia, Irwin, Marjorie, Wayne & Nancy, Mairead, and Norman.
With all my love, respect, and admiration, from your daughter forever, Nathalie.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 from 3 pm to 5pm at the Centre Funeraire Côte-des-Neiges Funeral Home located at 4525 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, H3V1E7.
