Antonio Di Iorio

Born in Montorio nei Frentani, Campobasso, Italy, April 6, 1933, he immigrated to Montreal in the 1950s at the age of 18 in search of a better life. He was a devoted husband to Bruna Rinaldi-Di Iorio and a loving father to Carmela (Vince Massa) and Diane (Lance Orr).

He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, who he adored, Mark Anthony Massa (Hyun Ju) and Melissa Ammendolea (Zack), along with his great-granddaughter Luna Massa.

Antonio worked in various service industry establishments, most notably at the Chateau Champlain Marriott Hotel. He also found success in several business investments, always guided by his old-school philosophy that a handshake meant everything. His integrity and work ethic earned him the respect of all who knew him.

A quiet and humble man, Antonio found joy in his family, his garden, and in making his own wine, a craft he had perfected over the years.

Antonio is predeceased by his sisters Lina (Giovanni) and Anna (Giovanni), his brother Michele (Maria), and his brother-in-law Ernie (Adelaide). He is survived by his sister Ilda (the late Ettorino), and fondly remembered by his sister-in-laws Mina (the late Sebastian), Bianca (Guido), and Lucy (Louis). Along, with numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitations will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at the Centre Funéraires Côte-des-Neiges, Salon Les Érables, 2nd floor, 4525 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, H3V 1E7.

Funeral Services will follow in the Chapel, 1st floor, (Centre Funéraires Côte-des-Neiges), from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm .

Interment will follow from 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm at the Côte-des-Neiges Cemetery, Mausoleum Eulolie Durocher, 2nd floor, at 4601 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, H3V 1E7.
