It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Carter-Joseph who peacefully departed on June 11th 2025, at the age of 90 years. Beloved spouse of Hollister Joseph and loving mother of Ian Norville. Cherished elder sister of Ellisworth, Selwyn, Grace, Lucille, Patsy, Alaric and Annie. Barbara was an important figure in the lives of her many nieces, nephews and cousins at home and abroad. She enjoyed many strong and enduring friendships. Barbara had a passion for travel and a love for good food, music, friends and conversation. Her love of life and resiliency was an inspiration for all who knew her. Barbara’s quick wit, grace and dignity withstood the test of time. She will be forever in our hearts and always remembered with love.
