Colleen is survived by her children, Tina (George), Lorie (Danny), and Joey (Melissa), and by her cherished grandchildren Dylan, Lexie, Liam, Tessa, and Gia, as well as her great-nieces Eva and Siena. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Sharon, Donna, and Gail; her sisters-in-law Franca (Liberto) and Angie (Angelo); her brother-in-law Joe (Trisha); and her nieces and nephews Alfonso (Amanda), Joseph, Alessia, Tricia, Cindie, Matthew, Jack, Theo, and Nicholas, along with many cousins, extended family members and lifelong friends.
To many, Colleen was a second mom. For 35 years, she lovingly ran a home daycare, caring for nearly 100 children as if they were her own. Her presence offered steadiness, patience, and warmth, not only to the children in her care, but to her family, friends, and anyone who needed comfort or reassurance.
She had a wonderful sense of humor; her friends often said that to know her was to laugh with her. She expressed her love through creativity, baking her famous brownies, crafting, and joyfully celebrating her Irish heritage, especially on St. Patrick’s Day.
Her greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. That love lives on in every child she nurtured, every laugh she shared, and every heart that was lucky enough to be held by her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, carried forward in the way we care for one another and hold our families close.
