C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de Mme Denise Gagnon fille de feu Alma Lévesque et de feu Roger Gagnon, à l’hôpital Pierre-Boucher à Longueuil, le 9 mai 2020 à l’âge de 85 ans.
Elle laisse dans le deuil :
Ses onze (11) enfants, leurs conjoints ou conjointes ainsi que leurs enfants respectifs : feu Mario (Monique Labbé) : Louis-Philippe, ses enfants : Benjamin, Antoine et Ariane; Marc-Olivier (Elsa-Maude Deschamps); feu Guy; Lucie; Pierre (Claire Larochelle) : feu Dany (Nathalie Lessard) et Caroline (Louis-Philippe Thibeault-St-Pierre) et leurs enfants Rafaël et Léa; Louise (Gaétan Bérubé) : Claudia (Dave Cusson-Collard) et leurs enfants: Julia et Arthur; feu Jean (Lucie Boulais) : Émilie et Mélissa; André : Tanya (Renaud Boon) et leur enfant Layla, Anthony; René: Mathieu (Jany St-Cyr) et Annrika (Thomas St-Pierre) et leurs enfants Édouard et Léonie; Luc (Nathalie Labbé) : Erik-Olivier (Pier-Maude Plourde) et leur enfant Augustin, Sahmuël (Elisabeth Vachon-Labonté), Karlou et Lylou-Rose; Sylvie (Faustino Fernandes) : Brian (Sabrina Ramirez) leur fils Maximus, Stephanie (Ziad Salloum), Manuel; Martine (Richard Sarrouf) : Sarah (Frédéric Deschênes) et Melissa.
Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil, ses frères et sœurs : feu Maurice (feu Doris Hughes), feu Germaine (feu Ferdinand Painchaud), Sœur Pauline aux Ursulines de Québec, Thérèse (feu Fritz Mayer), Marthe (feu Stanley Burton), feu Gertrude (feu Guy Leduc), feu Jules (Hélène Robillard), feu Jean et feu Louise.
Mme Gagnon laisse également derrière elle plusieurs autres amis(e)s, voisins, beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, neveux et nièces.
Beaucoup se souviendront d’elle comme une personne accueillante, souriante, généreuse et attentionnée, laissant ainsi à tous de précieux souvenirs.
En raison de la pandémie causée par la COVID-19, nous avons été incapable d’être auprès de Denise pour ses derniers instants. Nous tenons à remercier profondément le personnel aux soins intensifs de l’hôpital Pierre-Boucher de Longueuil ainsi que celui de l’hôpital Honoré-Mercier de Saint-Hyacinthe qui furent de véritables anges par leurs soins, leur professionnalisme et leur dévouement tout au long de cette épreuve qu’elle a traversé avec beaucoup de courage et de résilience.
La famille désire remercier chaleureusement le personnel de la Maison Dauphinelle où Mme Gagnon demeurait.
En raison de la pandémie et du respect des règles de distanciation, ses funérailles seront célébrées à une date qui reste à déterminer.
L’inhumation aura lieu au cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges de Montréal à une date ultérieure.
Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à La Société Alzheimer de Québec seraient appréciés.

She leaves to mourn:

Mrs. Gagnon leaves behind many other friends, neighbors, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.
Many will remember her as a welcoming, cheerful, generous and caring person, leaving precious memories with everyone.
Due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19, we were unable to be with Denise for her final moments. We would like to deeply thank the intensive care staff of the Pierre-Boucher hospital in Longueuil as well as that of the Honoré-Mercier hospital in Saint-Hyacinthe who were true angels by their care, their professionalism and their dedication throughout of this ordeal that she went through with great courage and resilience.
The family wishes to warmly thank the staff of the Maison Dauphinelle where Mrs. Gagnon lived.
Because of the pandemic and the respect for the rules of distancing, his funeral will be celebrated on a date that remains to be determined.
Interment will take place at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery in Montreal at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donation to La Société Alzheimer de Québec would be appreciated.
