It’s with heavy heart we are announceing the passing of Donald F. Smith March 1st 2018 at his home in Waterloo, Shefford Quebec.

Our Uncle Donald worked very hard at whatever he was doing all though his life, even at his age.Always loved the stories and people of” Goose Village” “Griffin Town ”His passion was driving truck, he had a saying “ He’s been there or He moved them.Loving son of Arthur( Archie) and Mary Frances Smith(Byrnes) of the Village .Survived by his sister Beverley husband Russel (deceased).Brother to Arthur wife Helen (deceased),Norman and Agnes(deceased), sister Pearl husband Leonard (deceased),sister Myrtle husband Kenneth(deceased), sister Ruth husband Everett (deceased), Grant (deceased).He will be sadley missed by his God Children and many nephews and nieces . Viewing will be held at this time, 1 to 4 PM March 14th 2018, 4525 Ch De La Côte des Neiges Montreal, Quebec ,H3V-1E7, Cote Des Neige Funeral Home. As per Donald wishes he wanted cremation and his ashes buried with his grandmother at the Côte Des Neiges Cemetary which will take place at a later date. In Lieu of flowers or donations will be of your choice and would be appreciated to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation, the hospital that Uncle Donald loved for so many years.
