Emira Provenzano

C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès d’Emira Provenzano (feu Michele Tambasco), survenu paisiblement le 10 mars 2026, à l’âge de 90 ans.

Née à Cerisano, Cosenza, en Italie, elle était reconnue pour son rire remarquable, sa générosité, sa grande douceur, sa passion pour la littérature et son profond amour pour sa famille.

Elle a été précédée dans la mort par ses enfants bien aimés, Giuseppe et Michelina (Sylvain Gagné). Leur souvenir l’a accompagnée chaque jour, porté avec une force admirable.

Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille Concetta Ilaria (feu Meyer Oiknine), ses petits enfants Alisa (Adam Schachter), Michael James, Naomi, Yves Raphaël et Justin Gagné, son arrière petit fils, ses sœurs Maria, Pina et Gina, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, autres parents et amis.

Son souvenir demeurera à jamais dans nos cœurs.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emira Provenzano (the late Michele Tambasco), who died peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the age of 90.

Born in Cerisano, Cosenza, Italy, she was known for her amazing laugh, her generosity, her gentle spirit, her passion for literature, and her deep love for her family.

She was predeceased by her beloved children, Giuseppe and Michelina (Sylvain Gagné). Their memory accompanied her each day, carried with admirable strength.

She is survived by her daughter Concetta Ilaria (the late Meyer Oiknine), her grandchildren, Alisa (Adam Schachter), Michael James, Naomi, Yves Raphaël and Justin Gagné, her great grandson, her sisters Maria, Pina, and Gina, as well as many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Her memory will remain forever in our hearts.
