

Erlinda Belarmino (January 14, 1934 - December 6, 2020) passed away peacefully at age 86 at the CHSLD Vigi Mont-Royal.
Erlinda was an accomplished nurse, having graduated from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines as part of the class of 1962. Notably, she worked as a clinical instructor and nurse at Ortañez General Hospital. Her career took her all over the world in places as such Stockholm, Sweden and Chicago, Illinois before settling in Quebec in 1967. She worked briefly at Ste. Anne's Veterans Hospital then settled into a long term staff nurse career with L'Hôpital général juif for over 25 years.
Outside of her work, she was a devoted servant of the Catholic Church as Eucharistic Minister at St. Kevin's Parish and a member of various church organizations, notably Friends of Brother André.
She is survived by her beloved siblings Manuel Belarmino and Josefina Belarmino, and predeceased by her cherished siblings Alfredo Belarmino, Alicia Quinto, and Esperanza Tee. She is sadly missed by her family who will feel the loss of their Lola Linda, especially her wisdom, her independence and self-assured nature, her wild stories, her fondness for dancing, and her excitement for nights at the casino.
