Flora (Liganor) De la Cruz

Flora Dela Cruz, born on October 5, 1937, departed this world on December 20, 2023, leaving a legacy of love and culinary artistry. An outstanding cook, her kitchen was a haven of flavours and warmth, where family gathered to savor her delicious dishes. Her passion extended beyond the kitchen, as she dedicated 16 years to shaping young minds as a grade 3 homeroom teacher at Central Elementary School in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

Flora's vibrant spirit and sociable nature endeared her to the Filipino community and all who knew her. A storyteller at heart, she had the enchanting talent of captivating her life's adventures, turning each gathering into unforgettable moments. Flora is survived by her daughter Fe and son Soc, along with their spouses, Lito and Merlie, respectively. Her cherished grandchildren, Cathy, Robert, Triton, and Marie Ella, are testaments to the love that defined her family.

As we bid farewell to a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, let us celebrate the joy she brought into our lives and the lasting impact of her wisdom. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared.
