There are so many sweet memories of my nonna. Her kisses and hugs, her unconditional love. I loved watching her in the kitchen baking her pizzas and bread, her various cakes. She was always on her feet, always on the go. I used to love her stories from Italy and her arrival in Montreal. How her and nonno built their life in Canada. She made me the lovable and caring person I am today. She missed Miranda and nonno and I know she is laughing and singing with them now. One of the sweetest and latest memories I have of her is when she met my eldest daughter Alba. She held her and admired her great grandchild and created a song for her 'la pagnotta bella!' Alba and Stella talk about their bisnonna often. Nonna would light up any time we saw her. Nonna and her family were a force of love. It is all that mattered to her and I will be forever grateful for all the love she poured into our family. She is with me forever and I only wish we could all be together to celebrate the incredible woman she was. Con tante amore nonna, ti amo per sempre.

My dear friend Sabino,  hearing of your loss has left me with a heavy heart and sadness.  You spoke to me often of your mom with much love, compassion and concern.  Know you are in my thoughts through this difficult time.  I offer my deepest condolences to you and your entire family.  May your mom rest peacefully.
