Franjo (Frank) Lipic passed peacefully at home in NDG, Montreal at the age of 84. Frank was born in Donji Kraljevec, Croatia October 27th, 1941 son of Anton and Theresa Lipic. He immigrated to Canada in 1970.
Frank was a barber in Croatia and after moving to Montreal became a butcher for Canada Packers and completed career in home renovations.
Frank married Amalija (Amelia) Strbad on November 29th, 1963. He had his first child Lily, in 1964 and second daughter, Laura in 1971.
Frank loved cooking and celebrating with his wide circle of friends. He was always referred to as the neighbourhood cook. He loved reading books and had a keen passion of Geography and History.
He is survived by Amalija (Amelia) and his two daughters. He also leaves behind an extended Lipic family and a mosaic of friends. He will be truly missed.
Service will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivary White Funeral Homes, 5610 Sherbrooke St. W. in NDG on Saturday November 22nd, 2025. Visitation will be from 1-3pm and then followed with a Chapel Servce from 3-4pm.
