It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giulia Angelini on November 29, 2019. Predeceased by her beloved husband Domenico Angelini, her son Nazzareno Angelini and brother Sabatino Santache. She leaves behind her loving daughter Maria (Frank Todi), her daughter-in-law Domenica, her sister Maria Teresa Palucci, her sister-in-law Elma and her adoring grandchildren : Domenico (Stefania), Mauro (Tina), Carla (Alex), John (Sara) and her precious great-grandchildren : Alessia, Milena, Gianluca, Olivia, Luca, Gianni and Matteo as well as several sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A dress maker by trade, and widowed with two small children, she commenced working in a high end ladies boutique in Westmount which she eventually owned for over 50 years until it closed in 2009. She will be dearly missed by many relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Westhill Residence and the Palliative Care unit of Mount Sinai Hospital for their compassion and care. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Giulia’s long time friend and personal physician, Dr. Evelyn Huglo for always being there for her.
Visitation will take place at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White funeral home (5610 Sherbooke St. W) on December 5, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Monica’s Parish (6405 rue de Terrebonne) on December 6, 2019 at 10 a.m. followed by a burial at the Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery.
