Guy Frédéric Choltus

Nous avons le grand regret de vous annoncer le décès de Guy Frédéric Choltus, à l'âge de 87 ans. Aimé de son épouse Thérèse Choltus Pham Thi Trung, de ses enfants Karl, Eric et Sabine, de sa bru Rebekah, de son gendre Steven et de ses petits-enfants Ethan, Devon, Jared, Nevio, Anessa, et Elina.

Enseignant dans le secteur francophone du P.S.B.G.M, Diplômé du Collège presbytérien de Montréal et de l'Université McGill, Licencié en prédication, pasteur ordonné, membre du Comité de rédaction du journal l'Aurore, ex- Grand Aumônier du District des Loges de la Rive-Sud, ex-aumônier de la Légion royale canadienne de Châteauguay, il a longtemps vécu dans la région de Châteauguay où il comptait de nombreux amis aujourd'hui décédés comme lui. Le Major Miguel Borgela de l'Armée du Salut est l'un de ses proches amis.

Au lieu de fleurs, vous pouvez simplement faire un don à l'association caritative de votre choix ou, pour honorer l'amour de Guy envers tous les animaux, au SPCA de votre choix.

It is with great regret that we announce the death of Guy Frédéric Choltus, at the age of 87. Loved by his wife Therese Choltus Pham Thi Trung, his children Karl, Eric and Sabine, his daughter-in-law Rebekah, his son-in-law Steven and his grandchildren Ethan, Devon, Jared, Nevio, Anessa, and Elina.

Born in South Vietnam, Guy Choltus also lived in Madagascar, France and Tunisia before settling in Canada.

A teacher in the French-speaking sector of the P.S.B.G.M., graduate of the Presbyterian College associated with McGill University, Licentiate in preaching, ordained pastor, member of the Editorial Board of the newspaper L'Aurore, former Grand Chaplain of the District of Loges de la Rive-Sud, former chaplain of the Royal Canadian Legion of Châteauguay, he lived for a long time in the Châteauguay region before moving to Montreal. Always very sociable and well-liked by all, he had many friends.

In lieu of flowers, you can simply make a donation to the charity of your choice, The Salvation Army or, to honour Guy's great love for animals, to the SPCA of your choice.
