James Patrick Shanahan

1928-2016

À Saint-Jérôme, le 11 février, 2016, est décédé James Patrick Shanahan, époux de Richère Trudeau. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, ses petits-enfants, ainsi que d'autres parents et amis.

La famille recevra les condoléances samedi le 20 février 2016, de 14 h à 16 h, au Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525, chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, Québec H3V 1E7 514-342-8000. Une cérémonie suivra à la chapelle du centre funéraire.

James Patrick Shanahan died peacefully in Saint Jerome Hospital on February 11. 2016. He was the husband of Richere Trudeau and stepfather to her 15 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was the father of 9 children, 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was a career educator working as teacher, principal, school inspector, Director General of the Milles Isles Regional School Board, Director General of Vanier Cegep and finally ending his career teaching special ed classes at Marymount High school.

Family and friends are invited to share memories on February 20th, 2016 at The Cote des Neiges Funeral Home (4525 Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal 514-342-8000) from 2-4pm. A service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 4pm.
