Jean was born on January 16, 1932, in London, England. She later married Albert Low, who always said it was love at first sight. Together they built a life filled with love and family. The couple first emigrated to South Africa, where their three children—Anita, John, and Stephen—were born. In 1963, the family emigrated again, settling in Canada.
Jean was an avid painter for most of her adult life. She loved to garden and had many hours of happiness amongst her flowers. These flowers became her favourite muse. She painted large, exuberant flowers that reflected her love of light and colour.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert Low, who died in 2016.
Jean will always be remembered with love by her children, Anita Low, John Low, and Stephen Low; and by her cherished grandchildren, Clara Low-Decarie, Etienne Low-Decarie, Dane Low, Adrian Low, Chantal Low, and Camille Low.
Her warmth, creativity, and devotion to her family will live on in all who knew her.
Rest in peace, Mom.
