Jeana was born in Bucharest, Romania and as a young woman she loved to spend her free time hiking in the mountains of her native country. She moved to Montreal in 1983 to join her sister and family.
Jeana was skilled technically and worked as a draftswoman for Northern Telecom. She mentored young draftsmen and worked on the first computer drafting systems. After her retirement, she spent her time with family, friends, and her beloved dog, Rocky. She was a kind-hearted and gentle soul.
She is predeceased by her parents, Florentina and Alexandru Cazan, her sister Paula (Puica) Goldenberg, and her brothers Aurel and Costel Cazan. Jeana is survived by her cousins, nieces and nephew and their families, who will forever hold her memory dear to their hearts.
It was Jeana’s wish to live independently, and a special thank you to all her caregivers, especially Tsiri, and the CLSC who made it possible for her to live at home until her passing.
