Born in Montreal on April 19th, 1931, daughter of Berardo Di Gennaro and Apollonia Baldassare. She married her love of her life, the late Donato Broccolini in 1953, a devoted mother of Joseph (Carmela), the late Peter (Mary), John (Anna) and Paul (Stephanie). Cherished Nonna of 11 grandchildren, Donny, Jenny, Anthony, Christina, Teresa, Joanna, Michael, Sarah, Adriano, Victoria, Giulio and 22 great grandchildren. The last of her 7 brothers and 5 sisters, she will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
She lived a full life, and her happiest times were with her grandchildren up at Lake Capri and in the winter months in Florida. She was the matriarch of the family, an excellent cook she loved to prepare the traditional family Sunday lunches at her home. She was a loving wife, mom and nonna and will be missed by everyone. We will all cherish her memories forever.
Visitations on October 10th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Centre Funéraire Côte des Neiges (4525 ch. Côte-des-neiges, Montreal, QC) followed by a funeral service to celebrate her life at Mary Queen of the World (1085 de la Cathédrale, Montreal, QC) on October 11th at 10:30 am.
