John Mikulec, 94 years old, passed away on September 4th, 2025, after a brave battle with a health issue. He was a McGill graduate in engineering.
He is widowed by his first wife Jenny Ginn and his second wife Anna Bozik. He is survived by his close companion Cynthia Bryan and his sister Anne Sosontovich, three children Kelly, Johnnie and Paul, and two stepchildren, Jeff and Robert Clarke, grandson Andrew Mikulec, and great grandson Jason. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephew Gerald, James and Betty Ann Sosontovich, Gerald’s daughters, Olivia and Mia, Robert’s children, Cynthia and Jean-Marc, and Jeff’s daughter, Julia, as well as his best friend Francois Fillion.
The family would like to give their thanks to the staff of the Aux Trois Sentier: Soins de fin de vie, for their great care and support.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 24th, at 2pm at Mount-Royal Cemetery, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, Qc, H2V 2P9.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada in John’s memory would be appreciated.
