Kathleen (Kay) Bouchard (née Widgery) born in England 1925, peacefully passed away September 29, 2018. She was the strong, dynamic and loving wife of the late Marcel Bouchard and amazing mother (and mother in law) to her 6 children; all retired police officers: Bobby(Luisa), Glenn(Diane), Andre(Lise), Danielle(Callum), Mark(Jutta) and Stephen(Lisa). Kay was awarded Honorary Montreal Police Inspector for her dedication to her family and to the Service. For over 20 years she joyfully volunteered at the Royal Victoria Hospital and knitted over 300 caps for the hospitals’ newborn. Kay was ‘Nana’ to her 11 adoring grandchildren and her 12 precious great-grandchildren. Today we honour and celebrate the wonderful woman we will always love and cherish.
Funeral Visitation: Residences Funeraires T. Sansregret (4419 Rue Beaubien E, Montréal, QC) on October 19th hours 2-5 and 7-9 pm and October 20th from 9-11am. Funeral service will be held on October 20th at Saint-Jean-Vianney Church at 11 am, (6421, 25e Avenue, Montréal). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
