Through our friend Christiane, I have been following the journey Ken(and you) have travelled in the last year or so, and my heartfelt thoughts and prayers have been with you. Our deepest sympathies for your loss but to paraphrase an old quote.....weep not for what you have lost but take comfort in what you had. I did not know Kenny that well on a social level but everytime we sat together he always had a smile, genuine inquiries about the family and others. I could tell he had a great heart and was a great guy. He wanted to make sure you would be fine and told me on more than one occassion how lucky he felt to have had you in his life.

It was a pleasure knowing Ken and through him getting to know you. I had the opportunity to golf with him last year and he expressed how important your support had been for him as he battled the various phases of his illness. He was very grateful that you were there and that you were as strong and positive as you were. 
I am certain that we will bump into each other from time to time here in our community. If ever you would like to get together to have a cup of coffee or just to chat please do not hesitate to call.

I went to high school with Kenny over 40 years ago at Pius X in Ahuntsic.Unfortunately, we didn't keep in touch after we graduated.

I remember him as very happy and outgoing. He also had a great sense of humour. I will never forget that great mischievous smile, his trademark.

I just found out today and I was shocked. I would have liked to have joined you this morning or Friday to pay my respects and see you again, but found out via paper too late this Saturday.
We have not kept touch but I will forever cherish the times I had with Ken. I meet Ken when I was a buyer at Zellers and then also at Chateau Lingerie. His honesty, charisma and joie de vivre was wso great. THAT smile is what I remember the most, it is a trademark. Dana I had heard about you from him many times as I dealt with him throughout the years and then we crossed paths at Reitmans.
I remember we talked often about Ken and one day I gave you a zucchinni. A few days later I got a pic of your family enjoying it with Ken and his smile with my zucchini!!!
I will cherish all the memories and that photo forever. May you continue your life with the great feeling of having had the opportunity to share your life with a great man such as Ken.
Strenght and courage and may we touch base shortly, knowing that the smiling angel is looking after us all....

Dear Laura, John and family,

May you find comfort in knowing that Kenny is finally at rest. As Father Pat said, no more doctors, no more procedures, no more pain. He will always be with you and i am sure that you will often feel his presence, hear his advice( whether you ask for it or not, because some things just never change)and reminisce over his infamous clever one-liner remarks. We are very lucky to have known him and to have been a part of his life. Everyone is missed by someone, but no one but Kenny will ever be as missed by so many.
