It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Konstantinos (Kostas) Safos, who peacefully departed on May 25, 2025, at the age of 99 years. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 65 years, Angeliki; his children: Miltiadis (Karie) and Sarah (Ted) and grandchildren: Jade, Julian and Nathaniel.
Kostas was born in Ikaria, Greece in 1926 and immigrated to Canada with his wife, Angeliki in 1961 to start a new life. He was known for his hard work ethic and was beloved by his colleagues at Bens Deli Restaurant. His children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments brought him much joy and pride.
The family will receive condolences at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges at 4525, chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a celebration in the funeral home.
