Nino.Ashleigh and Drew 

My heart is so heavy since hearing of the passing of your beautiful wife and mother. She was such a bright light. Always smiling. Always honest. Always kind and loving. Fiercely devoted to her family   And their schools and teams. She would do anything for anyone. We shared many happy moments as Class Parents at Selwyn House for nine years and we were very sad to see her move in to Kuper!! We shared our love of kids and sports and dogs and volunteering and houses and gardens. I knew she was my kindred spirit. We were so happy when you all returned to the West Island and chose Dorval for your home. I know she cherished the beautiful property you made into your home. Every time I think of her I think of her smile and humour. She was a dear friend. I will always think of her when I see  all that she loved around us. What a sad, sad loss for us all. Leigh was a  most supportive and encouraging mother, clearly a loving wife and sister and friend, and a dedicated volunteer and leader. We all benefitted from everything she did to make Selwyn House School a warm and loving home for Drew and all the students and faculty. She was an excellent head of the Parents Association, and she created and inspired many beloved traditions. Her fierce advocacy for her children touched my heart...her warmth, smile and friendliness did too. We reconnected, after Selwyn House, at the Cedars Cancer Centre, and even there Leigh was full of life and optimism, laughing and smiling throughout, encouraging and appreciating everyone. Leigh leaves a wonderful legacy...she made the world a better place for her children, her husband, and for us all.
