Lina Di Giorgio (née Pipitone)

Born in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily, Lina was the beloved wife of the late Francesco Di Giorgio. She leaves behind her cherished children, Anthony and Johnny (Carmelina), and her adored grandchildren, Franco and Daniele.

Lina is also survived by her dear brother, Vincenzo Pipitone(Maria), who resides in Castellammare del Golfo, as well as many loving nieces and nephews in both Sicily and Montreal.

She spent her final years at the CHSLD St-Georges where she was, cared for and deeply loved by all who knew her. A vibrant and generous spirit, Lina was an active member at the New Hope Senior Citizens’ Centre in NDG as well as a member and organizer of Club Age d’or St-Raymond, where she brought joy, warmth, and community to many.

On July 8, 2025, visitation and memorial services will be held from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, located at: 5610 Rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal, Quebec, H4A 1W5.

On July 9, 2025, visitation will take place from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at Saint-Raymond-de-Pennafort at 11:00 AM, located at: 5765 Rue Saint-Jacques, Montreal, Quebec, H4A 2E8.

Lina will be laid to rest at Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges, located at: 4601 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, Quebec, H3V 1E7.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Paroisse Saint-Raymond-de-Pennafort or to the New Hope Senior Citizens’ Centre, an organization close to Lina’s heart, New Hope Senior Citizens’ Centre located at 6225 Avenue Godfrey, Montreal, Quebec, H4B 1K3.
