She is remembered with love by her sisters Linda and Claire, her nephew Ricco, her niece Rachel, her brother-in-law John and his extended family, also by her countless cousins and friends.
She grew up in a small town north of Montreal, Oka where she excelled in school. One of her greatest joys, was when she moved to downtown Montreal. She loved shopping, going to the movie theatres, reading, arts and crafts, and dining out with family and friends. She always looked forward to family get-togethers and was ecstatic about seeing her family and sharing a nice meal and some good laughs.
She embraced life, it didn't matter what she was celebrating as long as we were all together. Although Lorraine did not have children of her own because of many health challenges, she was strongly connected to and very much proud of her niece and nephew. She treated them as if they were her own kids.. Lorraine was always a loving and caring sister, especially to Linda who was the youngest. Despite her battle with her illness, when Linda was young and their mother had to work, Lorraine would always be home cooking, cleaning and helping her complete all her homework for the following day.
Lorraine was a loving, kind and caring spirit. She will be sadly missed.
