Louie Rawle Pinder

Louie was born on March 13, 1934 to the late Conrad Inniss and Mildred Pinder in Barbados. He was preceded in death by his brothers, McPearson Payne and Rudolph Pinder and his son Roland Pinder.

He was the Husband of Venniss Pinder. Father of Patrick Marshall, Wendell and Nigel Pinder and the late Roland Pinder. Grandfather of Naria and Jason Millington and Jamal Marshall Tarique Jones and Tarell Jones-Pinder, Akeelia, Nigailia and Nivonte Brathwaite, Zeana and Zarrhea Pilgrim, Neisha Weir, Shaquan Bostic, Nishon Mason and Aijah Pinder and the late Nicobie Lavia. Great grandfather of twenty-one. Uncle of Ricardo Carter. Brother-in-law of Marlene Butcher, Sylvestine Maynard, Henry Brathwaite and Luther Gittens and the late Wilfred Brathwaite. Father-in-law of Andrea Pinder. Cousin of Cecile, Marcia and Veda Pinder and many others. Friend of Howie and Shanna and many others.

Louie Pinder lived a full life to the age of 90 years and spent most of his adult life in Canada.

A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 14, 2024 at St. Philip’s Church, 25 Brock Ave N.

The burial will follow at Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13 at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Homes from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

A reception will be held after the burial at St. Philip’s Church hall.
