Louise joined her beloved husband of 61 years, Joseph Robert Duquette, in heaven after a quick and peaceful passing surrounded by family at her bedside.
Louise’s life was a simple one of family and faith. She was an active and dedicated member of the Montreal Japanese Community and Japanese Catholic Church
Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Jo-Ann and the late Avner, Chantal and Nick, Celine and Marc, Ron and Catherine. Cherished “Baba” of Stephanie and Mike, Allie and Adam, Paige, Sarah and Alex, Angel, Cleo and Carl, Ava and Naseem, Erik, and Gabriel.
Proud great-grandmother of Tasai, Jack, Sophie, Tessa, Loren, Clelia and Rhys.
Visitations will be held at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges in the Salon Peupliers des Saule on Sunday July 6 from 1-4pm with a service beginning at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers the family will be making donations to: Missions Étrangères, Les Soeurs Missionnaires du Christ-Roi in Tokyo and the Japanese Cultural Community Center Montreal.
