A force of nature. Passionate advocate and participant in the Scouting Movement in Canada and the World. The first woman district commissioner in Canada. International Commissioner for Quebec. Awarded the Bronze Wolf, Scouting’s highest honour. Instrumental in creating the Red Ribbon Scouting Badge, given in order to recognize those working for AIDS/HIV awareness. Tireless organizer of countless expeditions to Africa and Nepal, and elsewhere in the developing world, to build wells, hospitals, schools, etc. Organized exchange program between Inuit and Westmount Scouts so that they could experience each other’s lives. Attended many World Scouting Conferences.
