IN THE CARE OF

Goodbody, Marilyn Gean aka Muzz or Muzzie, passed peacefully in her 91st year surrounded by the love of her family.

She was predeceased by her husband (of nearly 50 years) John Stephenson Goodbody, her daughter Cynthia Anne Wray-Bussey and her son Douglas John Goodbody; her precious grandson Jeremy Peter McMullen (Oct 2-5, 1990), her siblings Donnie Ellis, Eleanor Runciman (who passed just days ago), Beverley Ellis (1927-1932) and her beloved mother, Violet Anna (nee Kennedy) Ellis, who passed at 101 years of age.

She is survived by her children Beverley Wray, David (Maggie) Wray, Nancy (Gerry) McMullen; her GrandChildren Marc (Marie) & Laura (Rob), Kevin (Amy) & Alison, Brendan (Sara), Ashley & Kylie Wray (while absent in her life were never forgotten); her Great-Grandchildren Ethan & Max; her Step GrandChildren Maika & Kilia, Tony (Roxanne), her Step GreatGrandChild Atlas and her Goodbody, Ellis, Runciman nieces & nephews.

Marilyn lived a rich & full life, had many experiences and loved to entertain with those stories. She loved meeting & being with people, to hear about and recall their stories; she loved to entertain, putting on ‘the Ritz’ with seemingly great ease; she was feisty and fabulous and had an ability to make people feel welcome and at home. She was a friend to many, who would remember her positive outlook (even through hard times), her generosity & kindness. Golfing may have been put in her path, but for many years, it gave her a social place to shine. She was grateful for the joys and memories shared with friends near & far, present & passed.

Marilyn was quite simply full of grace and was a class act!! She was a chic & elegant fire cracker, who carried herself with fashionable flair and brightened every where she went with her smart style & sassy self.

Muzzie loved her family so much and we honor that love each time we remember her.

“A mother’s hug lasts long after she let’s go.” -said Christopher Robin to Winnie the Pooh

Graveside Services may be held at a later date in Montreal & London.

In lieu of flowers or donations, please surprise someone with a random act of kindness or generosity & know that Marilyn is smiling. Look out Heaven; here she comes!
