Mario Polisena

He will be sadly missed by his loving children Joe (predeceased), John and Lora, his cherished grand-daughters Alysha and Alexandra, his surviving sisters Anna Ciccotosto (Carmine) and Yolanda Santini (late Giacomo) and many other relatives and friends.

Born in Provvidenti, Italy, Mario came to Montreal for a better life with his wife, Antonia and son, Joe in 1963. He enjoyed working in his garden and enjoying the fruits of his labor always sharing with neighbours. Mario’s passion for gardening won him many awards for his flower gardens from the boroughs of NDG and Côte St. Luc.

Visitations will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (5610 rue Sherbrooke O., Montréal) on February 17th from 2-5pm and 7-9pm.

A ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 18th, at 11:00 am at St-Monica’s Parish (6405 rue Terrebonne, Montréal).

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Estevez and the great nurses at the St. Mary’s Hospital for their wonderful support and care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity for dementia research would be appreciated.
