Martha Elizabeth Smith daughter of the late Charles Lonsdale Smith and Martha Nan Smith (nee Dunn) died peacefully at the Montreal Neurological Hospital on December 12, 2025. She was a free spirited woman who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Everyone who knew her loved her joie de vie, and she always lit up a room with her flamboyant air as she loved the arts particularly the dramatic arts. She is survived by her only child Mary Kathleen Leung who will keep her memory alive as they had a strong mother-daughter bond.
Visitations to take place on January 8 and January 9th, from 2-5 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m at the Collins Clarke funeral home (5610 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal QC H4A1W5). A funeral service will take place on January 10th at the St Patrick's Basilica (460 René-Lévesque Blvd W, Montreal, Quebec H2Z 1A7). The burial will take place in the spring of 2026.
