C’est aujourd’hui le jour d’anniversaire de Paul que j’ai appris qu’il est décédé en 2016 j’offre à toute sa famille mes condoléance ainsi qu’à sa femme paix à son âme il a été mon premier amour je l’oublierais jamais de Mylene il avait 18 ans à l’époque

Knowing Paul for 20 yrs I can truly say my life has been blessed. Thank You Paul for sharing that laughter with me. You & I talking and talking here at the Belvedere at night, me worried if you needed another coffee. Helping you out so you wouldn't be over doing it,and you didn't.

My sincere condolences to all of the Kofira family but especally to Fei, Jayden and Paul's mother.  I pray that you all find the strength to support each other through this difficult time.  Since learning of Paul's sudden passing, the staff at the AMI have found some solace in sharing memories of Paul but the tears still come.  We miss you Paul and wish that we could hear your laugh just one more time......

Paul, your love for your son Jaden is unmistakable. Every conversation with you somehow had a mention of Jaden.  Every Christmas I gave Jaden pyjamas with hockey figures on them you would tell me how happy they made Jaden and that he did not want to take them off, so I started buying him two pairs instead.  I still have Jaden's card from this past Christmas where he wrote his own name.  I shall treasure it even more knowing that you've left us so soon.  Paul, may you find in death the eternal rest that so eluded you in life. Rest in peace my brother-in-Christ.

Words cannot describe how sad I feel.  I have known Paul for over 25 years. He was loved and respected by all.  He was kind and respectful to patients and always ready to help when help was needed.   
I will miss his loud infectious laugh.

These would inevitably be interspersed with his unforgettable laugh. When we last spoke a few weeks ago, as always, his thoughts were all about his little guy, Jaden. He was so proud and thrilled to be a father. Don't forget how much he loved all of you, and still does. 

Paul will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

My deepest condolences to the Kofira family. I have known Paul for close to 30 years and we often joked that we were getting old together at the Allan. He was the guardian of the building and know every nook and cranny, including  the ghosts! His patience kindness and sense of humor will be sorely missed. The Allan won't be the same without him.





I am a patient at Allan . He was always very respectful of patients and he was always ready to help us.  He participated in making the place welcoming. I'll miss him when I will go there. Sympathies to the co-workers and family.

I did not know Paul for a long time. He was a friend who shared a love of old movies and cartoons. I respect and admire his ability to be a good person. That was reflected in his love for his family and especially for his son, Jaden.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the Kofira family for their tragic loss. I have known Paul professionally for many years. Paul was widely regarded as highly competent, skilled with patients, and the security staff his colleagues would want to be present in case of emergency.  Paul's unfailing generosity, kindness, warmth, and special sense of humor were appreciated by so many who worked with him. The Allan Memorial Institute and all within were well protected during Paul's long tenure with us. Words cannot express how deeply saddened I am. Paul was such a kind-hearted, generous man. Everyone loved him. Even my husband remembers him as being such a kind person. I pray for his family, especially Jaden, who was born a bit before my son. He was the first one to show me the unconditional love of a father.

My deepest condolences to Paul's family on his passing. I had the privilege of working with him at the Allan for almost 25 years, and referred to him as my "office brother". I'll miss his intelligence, his sense of humour, his willingness to help anyone who needed it, and his amazing people skills. I'll especially miss hearing about Jaden, who was the light of his life.

I only knew Paul for a short time. I can say that he was a friend.  We shared a love of old movies and cartoons. I admire and respect him for his humanity and effort in being a good person. It showed in his love for his family and especially for his son Jayden.
