Palma Di Giacomo

With heavy hearts and fond memories, we announce the passing of Palma Coverini (nee Di Giacomo) who left us on August 28th, 2023 at the age of 95. A true matriarch and pillar of strength, she always had an open door and a kind word to say about everyone. Born in Umito, Ascoli Piceno, she realized her dreams of growing new roots in Canada.

Beloved wife of the late Domenico Coverini, loving and caring mother of Peter (Kris), late Sante, Johnny (Cindy), Betty (Robert), cherished nonna to Kristina (Patrick), Jason, Samantha (Michael), Jessica (Mischa), Erica (Kevin), Andrea, Jamie (Daniel), Stephen (Cherise), and adoring great-grandmother to Naomi Palma and Parker. She is predeceased by her seven siblings and survived by a multitude of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate her incredible life. Visitation will take place at the Côte-des-Neiges funeral home on Monday, September 4th from 6 pm to 9 pm and a funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 5th at 10 am at the funeral home.
