Passed away at home following a brave battle with his health. The beloved son of Kathleen Clark Mackay and John Mackay. He will be dearly missed by his wife Brenda (née Halbert), daughters Tracey and Kelly, grandson Xavier and many friends including the 'choir boys'. Visitation is on Friday, August 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Collins Clarke McGillivray (5610 Sherbrooke St. West) and the service will be held on Saturday, August 24 at 11 a.m. at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex (1297 Chemin de la Fôret). Please join the family following the service at Grumpys from 2 p.m. on to Celebrate Pete's epic Life. In lieu of flowers donations are welcome to the St. James Drop-in Centre.
