Raffaele Roviezzo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Raffaele Roviezzo, who departed this life peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday April 2, 2026, at the age of 79. Raffaele was born on August 10, 1946 in Bonea, Italy. He was predeceased by his parents Antonio Roviezzo and Fiorentina Luciano, and brother Gianbattista (Maria). He leaves behind his sister Giuseppina (Giuseppe) in Bucciano, Italy.

He was a dedicated husband to Anna Di Benedetto for 61 years, and a devoted father to Fiorita (Loreto), Luisa, and Antonio (Jennifer). He was a doting grandfather to Adamo (Alyssa), Sofia (David), Olivia, Anthony Raffaele, Ava and Tristan. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews and other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Raffaele’s kindness, wonderful sense of humour, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.

His family would like to thank his nurses, staff and physicians of the CLSC (LaSalle), Nova Care, as well as Maison Sault St. Louis (LaSalle).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 9, 2026 at 10:00am at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges (4525 Chemin de la Cote Des Neiges) followed by the burial at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Maison Sault St. Louis in LaSalle (8699 Lasalle Boulevard. (438) 375-7916) where the staff treated him with gentleness and kindness. His send off was performed with much dignity and respect.
