It is with extreme sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Robert Stanley Cartman on September 1, 2011. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Frances (née Rawlings) and by their three children; Tom, Laurie, and Susan.
He is survived by his brother Bill and sisters Lynda (Prinold) and Darlene (Thompson), as well as by the hundreds of friends who called him Dad or Uncle Bob.
His was a life full of laughter and warmth. Friends are invited to join in a celebration of his life on Wednesday September 7 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Collins Clarke Funeral Home located at 5610 Sherbrooke West in Montreal (514-483-1870). The family asks that you bring a picture of Bob (print or digital) with you and share a memory of him with them.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday September 8 at 11 a.m. also at Collins Clarke, and all are welcome. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Montreal Chest Institute and MUHC.
