Shirley Knight

She was born in Montreal on September 24, 1935, the daughter of Frederick Knight and Gertrude Thorpe. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, John Walker.

She is survived by Jack Walker of Whitby, ON, Richard Walker of Kamloops, BC, and Susan Millett of Schuyler Falls, NY. She was the proud grandmother to Christopher, Peggy, Heather, Leanne, Samantha, Jessica, Alexandra, Matthew and numerous great-grandchildren.

Shirley was the secretary at St Columba Anglican Church for over 25 years and volunteered in all facets of church life at St Columba for over 60 years. Throughout the years, she was also involved with the Boy Scouts of Canada, several bowling leagues and a devoted member of St Ansgar’s Lutheran Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Saturday, August 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. followed by a memorial service at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (5610, Sherbrooke W, Montréal).
