Suzanne (Phelan) Marino

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Suzanne after a valiant battle with cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband, Norman and two sons, Michael and Danny (Laura), her beloved grandson James, her sister Maureen (Dan) and her brother Tim, her uncle Kevin Reynolds and aunt Mavis Lunny, brothers-in-law Frank (Denyse) and Vincent Marino, sister-in-law Carole Marino, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her father, the Honourable Justice Charles A. Phelan, and her mother, Marion Reynolds.

Suzanne will be remembered as a beautiful soul who lived her life in service of others. An extremely hard-working and devoted wife and a perfect mother, Suzanne was a very strong-willed, loving and unfailingly trustworthy human being. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed. “With the souls of the righteous give rest to thy servant Suzanne. May her memory be eternal!”

Remembrance will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal QC, H3V 1E7. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 555 Jean-Talon E. H2R 1T8. It will commence with a viewing at 10:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Mount Royal Cemetery, 1297 Foret Rd, Outremont, Quebec H2V 2P9.
