Vincenzo Cervini

March 26, 2009 – April 9 2017

Vincenzo Cervini was granted his angel wings on April 9th 2017, following a courageous battle with neuroblastoma. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Vincenzo had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life. Vincenzo was smart, vibrant and full of life. He was wise beyond his years and knew what was truly important.

Throughout his battle, Vincenzo possessed great strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage, he taught us that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He could spend hours building Lego and making cupcakes on his iPad. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, staying up late, and writing stories. He loved watching wrestling and cherished his friendship with Sami Zayn.

With Vincenzo’s passing, we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday, especially his winning smile, he will forever remain in our hearts. Through his teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be his parents. Vincenzo’s little brother, Adriano, will miss him dearly and always cherish the time they spent together.

Vincenzo is survived by his loving parents, Piero and Karen; brother Adriano; paternal grandparents Vincenzo and Adriana; maternal grandfather Ugo; uncle Sandro (Lucia); aunt Clara (Lucio); aunt Sabrina (Giuliano); and cousins Jason (Anabel), Vanessa, Matthew (Dania), Justin, Sofia and Isabella.

on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m., as well as, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 1pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
