Weronika (Jacus) Koryszko

It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Weronika (Jacus) Koryszko, from Montreal, passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 85 years old.

She was a beloved, brave, and cherished individual who touched the lives of all who knew her.

She was a loving and caring mother/grandmother/wife and a gentle soul. She wasn't overly complicated and enjoyed the simple things in life and always the optimist. She was a devoted catholic and always spared a moment for correspondences with family members from Canada and Poland.

She is survived by her daughters, Grace (Domenico) and Lydia and her son, Gabriel (Marie-Claude), as well as her grandchildren Nicholas, Adam, Christopher, Zoe and Lucas, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Weronika was predeceased by her late husband, Olister Koryszko, her brothers Peter and Janek, her sister Helena and her beloved parents Roman Jacus and Barbara Kusznicz.

Visitation will be held at the Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, located at 4525 Chemin de Cote-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC, H3V1E7, on February 26, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Parking is underground.

Condolences may be offered on February 27, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
