Anita L. Pucci

Born on November 25, 1923, in Paterson, NJ, Anita was the beloved daughter of Peter and Mary (Tamara) Perrotta. She spent her early years in upstate New York and graduated from South Side High School in Elmira, NY, in 1942. She later attended Keuka College in Keuka Park, NY.

Anita married Alfred J. Pucci on October 11, 1942, in the Bronx, NY. They shared over two decades together before his passing in September 1964. She found love again and married Ralph J. Pucci on April 25, 1970. They remained devoted to each other until Ralph’s passing on January 12, 2009.

Over the years, Anita worked as a beautician at Alfred Parkside in Yonkers, NY, and later as a retail clerk at Saks in White Plains, NY. She will be remembered for her grace, warmth, and love of family.

Anita is survived by her loving son, Alfred Pucci; her grandchildren Brent (Janis), Brian (Kathleen Jones), David (Libby), Michael (Catherine), and Christopher Pucci (Lauren); and ten great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by several cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Pucci, and her sisters, Maria Hourihan and Elizabeth Colucci.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Christopher Church in Buchanan, NY. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.

Anita will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
