Ann Sheila Holland

Ann Sheila Holland, of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the age of 80. Sheila was born on January 19, 1942, to the late Edward and Irene (Jacoby) Dean in Peekskill, NY. She married the love of her life Roy Holland on November 12, 1960. They were married for 40 years before Roy’s passing in March 2001. Sheila worked as a teacher’s aide at Walter Panas High School when she was not raising her five children.

Sheila enjoyed traveling with her friends, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was known for her enormous Christmas Tree and holding family gatherings. Sheila enjoyed going to see her grandchildren playing in their school sports games and spending time with her great grandchildren. She was an avid Yankees and Jets fan.

Sheila is survived by her loving children Cheryl Trowbridge (Tim), Cynthia Guida (Fred), Karen Erickson (Doug), Kimberly DeMilia (David), and Scott Holland (Sheri), cherished grandchildren Shawn (Nicole), Amy, Audrey, Courtney (Henry), Caitlin, Joe, Nicholas, Grace, and Shannon, adored great grandchildren Sloane and Teaghan, and caring sister Elise Pancio. Sheila was also predeceased by her sister Audrey Dean and brother Brian Dean.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 4-8PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY 10548. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 15th, 10:30AM at St. Columbanus Church, Cortlandt Manor, NY with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery, Croton-on-Hudson, NY.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital 100 Woods Road, Valhalla, NY 10595, in Sheila’s name.
