

Born on May 1, 1944, in Sanfins do Douro, Portugal, Antonio was the son of the late Antonio Joaquim Teixeira Gracio and Antonia Adozinda Vilela Cabeco Gracio.
On August 3, 1970, Antonio married the love of his life, Maria F. Teixeira Macedo in their hometown of Sanfins do Douro, Portugal. Together they shared a devoted marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. The couple lived in Portugal then France before immigrating to the United States in March of 1989, where they built a wonderful life together and operated a successful house cleaning business.
Antonio was a man who truly cherished time spent with family and friends. He loved gathering with loved ones for barbeques and celebrations, where his sense of humor, storytelling, and jokes brought joy to all around him. He enjoyed traveling, especially returning to Portugal to visit family and friends. Antonio also had a passion for music and singing, and he never missed an opportunity to try his luck playing the lottery.
Above all, Antonio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Antonio is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Fer Teixeira Macedo Gracio; his loving children, Fernando Joaquim Macedo Gracio and Sandrine Adozinda Macedo Gracio; his cherished grandchildren, Jayden Gabriel Gracio Ribeiro and Anthony James Gracio Bellotti; his caring sister, Antonia Laurinda Gracio; as well as his nieces and nephews and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, New York.
A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at St. Christopher's Church, Buchanan, New York.
Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Verplanck, New York.
