My friend Cindy was one in a million; she was beautiful inside and out, kind, vivacious and a wonderful listener; I could go on and on but I know you know what I mean.

At times like this everyone says platitudes but in Cindy’s case they couldn’t be truer. She was more than my best friend; she was my confidant, partner in crime, fashion advisor and a second mom to my kids. I know she touched so many with her kindness, laughter and a smile that could light up a room.

That’s because she had the most generous spirit always making everyone feel loved and welcome in her life; in her home. She always offered her house as a refuge to her friends who needed a shower, a hot meal or a place to stay during storms, power outages and the like. You didn’t need a reason to stop by; she always welcomed you with open arms using any visit as an excuse to spend time together. If I close my eyes I can picture her laughing or telling a story about something mundane that would have you cracking up.

Now I have to say goodbye to someone who was more like a sister to me than my own could ever be. She reminded me to slow down, take a breath and savor the little things as she did and to laugh at myself. And although I know you know this - Rachel, Zach and Jacob your mother loved you fiercely - there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for you. She was your biggest champion whether rooting for you Rachel to pursue a career in the medical field, cheering for every hockey goal you saved and pride when you made the Syracuse team Zach and Jacob beaming with pride over your incredible music talent and even bowling prowess! No one will ever replace her but know that she is always watching over you. And although I can never compare I’ll be here for you whenever you need; I know she would do the same for my boys; Rick, Brett and Alec if the tables were turned.

Cindy there’s a hole in my heart now that you’ve gone.
Love always Lesa

Cindy was a special lady. Baseball and music led us to connect. Every conversation was enjoyable. She was the biggest fan and supporter for her children. Her peaceful smile lives on in my heart forever. May her loving memories provide comfort to all her family!

RIP Cindy!

So sorry for your loss Robert and Jacob!

Dearest Rob, Zach, Rachel, Jacob, Carol and Dick,

I feel so blessed to have attended the beautiful wedding of my cousin, Rob, and his beloved Cindy, and to have kept in touch over the years. This past October, I was in Montrose for my Hen Hud HS Reunion, and was able to spend a couple of days enjoying their company. Cindy was as lovely and sweet as ever with such a splendid family around her. How we all will miss her!

She has left us far too young. We will always cherish her memory and she will remain in the hearts of all who were lucky to know and love her.

May you forever Rest In Peace.
