Dear David,
I will miss you not only as a wonderful coworker, but also a dear friend.

At work, you were always so polite and willing to help when I needed it. I cherish our conversations we shared, especially about Bill and Scoobie which you loved dearly. I will always remember walking out together after work to the parking garage where we would park on the top floor and go all those steps up not getting winded. You kept me in shape.

I was always so impressed on how knowledgeable you were on Bonzi plants. You amazed me by knowing so many facts and even Dr.Wakamora who was a famous biologist at the Botancial Gardens. I can remember when you gave me one with instructions on how to care for it. You made it seem so easy how to raise and prune it, but mine did not flourish and only lasted for three years. I must have done something wrong. Thank you for always thinking of me.

I am lucky I got to see you at Westchester medical center and your apartment. I recently left a note on your door of your apartment. You were out with your sister. Your next door neighbor told me. Sorry I missed you for the last time. I hope you received it.

I know we will meet again. I don’t know when but I believe in the hear after and we will meet one more time

I will always remember my cousin David as a kind and gentle soul. He possessed an innocence about him that radiated goodness. I know I will smile when I remember the care and pride he took in his bonsai plants and his birds. He loved his family deeply and was a devoted son and brother. David had such focused determination. His mental stamina and tenacity were truly inspiring.
Now, David, may you rest in peace in our Heavenly Father's everlasting arms.

David , your Love for life and it’s Beauty touched everyone you encountered everyday! No matter what kind of day I was having you always manage to stop me and ask me how I was doing ! At the end of our conversation you would always say “ Have a great day”. It would make me stop and think of the saying, don’t sweat the small stuff ! That we each had something to be a Thankful for each day! May God Bless on your new journey my friend! I will miss you !

My cousin David was without a doubt a kind, gentle and caring person. As we can see by the many comments of others shared here, that will be the legacy he leaves behind. But, he also leaves a legacy of courage and determination, as he battled cancer many years ago as well, and beat it. And in his last fight, David gave it his all, as he fought with everything he had. But the lasting memory I will have of David, are the times we prayed together in the hospital. And even while not being able to speak, David responded through head nods, hand gestures and writing on his pad, that he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. And while we all prayed fervently for his physical healing, David 's decision at the end of his life was the one that guaranteed his walk with God Almighty for all eternity. And it brings great joy to my heart. I know, David is resting in Peace.

" I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." - 2 Timothy 4:7-8

David my brother, From the first day a started working at Phelps you were a ray of light I got a chance to talk to on a daily basis. You gave me great advice when it came to my new baby boy and I did not get a chance to talk to you about his new sister before you went home. Well David my friend my son has a sister and I wanted you to know that. You are an amazing soul and I know your body wasn't strong enough for your spirit. I will miss you very much my brother. Till we meet again and discuss the weather. I love you my brother. Rest In Love.

David was a sweet and friendly presence at Phelps Hospital. He always stopped to chat when we'd meet in the halls as he went about his work. He always had something good to say, thoughts to share. He is missed and he will not be forgotten.
