Ernie, I love you with all my heart, you were always there for me and I miss you dearly. I’m very proud of you, you taught me many things, helping me become the man I am today and hopefully, some day I may touch as many lives as you have.
I’m so grateful for all the good times we had, thank you for being my big brother and protecting me in many ways and always knowing that you loved me.
A part of me is missing now, but when I think your smile and remember your kindness you still help me and  will always be apart of me.

I worked with Ernie 5 days a week, 24 hours a day and I can tell you in all that time across the U.S., he never met a stranger..and within 5 min, he would be telling them he was from New York.  He was definitely a proud New Yorker.  Ernie always kept me laughing whether it was telling humorous stories about his wonderful and loving "Italian" family or his great impression of the Bowery Boys or Jerry Lewis.  Ernie loved and admired his mother dearly and was so very proud of his daughter whom he adored.  Ernie was truly a good man with a good soul and will be sorely missed in this world.  Good-bye, my friend, see you later.

Ernie will be greatly missed.  I hope your fond memories bring you comfort. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

My sympathies to all my family who are affected by the loss of Ernie.  I will always remember him as a kind young man, full of fun, who was attentive to Uncle Eddy and Aunt Therese.

Ernie was our next door nieghbor in Fl. Had many a good times, cooking out with others, riding motorcycles and having a good time. He will be missed by all. Martk Stone and Meshawn Neff

While we never had the opportunity to meet Ernie, the Delaura family has had a special place in our hearts for many years.  We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers in this time of great sorrow.
