George Edward Keefe, a resident of Montrose, NY, passed away April 17, 2026. He was 97 years old. George was born on May 4, 1928 in Peekskill, NY to the late Lawrence and Marilla (McCoy) Keefe. Before his retirement, he worked for IBM for many years as a research staff member.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21st from 4-8pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY 10548. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd at 10am at Trinity-Boscobel United Methodist Church, 275 Church Street, Buchanan, NY 10511. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, 1033 Oregon Rd, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567.
