Howard Goldbach

Howard was born on April 4, 1923 in New York City to Jacob Augustus and Annie (Williamson) Goldbach. In 1933 he and his family moved to Buchanan. He attended and graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in 1941. Howard was married at Trinity Methodist Church in Buchanan in 1941 to his high school sweetheart, the late Betty C. (Everett) Goldbach. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed.

Howard is survived by his loving children; Howard J. Goldbach and his wife Lorraine and daughter, Jean Goldbach, beloved grandchildren; Bryan Miller, John Goldbach, Aline Haffner, Peter Goldbach and Kristina Goldbach. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren; Anthony Miller, and Lily and Joshua Haffner. He was predeceased in 2010 by his loving wife Betty C. Goldbach and his brother Robert Goldbach in 1983.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Friday, February 3rd from 2-4 and 7-8:30 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 3rd at 8:30 pm also at the funeral home.
