Jan was born on August 15, 1945 in Peekskill, NY to the late John and Katherine (Outhouse) Murphy.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John E. Horton; loving sons, Scott Horton and Darrell Horton and his wife Meagen; caring brother, John Murphy and his wife Ruby and her adoring grandchildren, Colin, Erin, Juliet and Caroline Horton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 12th also at the Funeral Home. Cremation Services will be Private.
